A native of Napa, Blake grew up first working in the medium of crayons before moving onto finger paint.  An indulgent grandmother introduced him to a pencil and watercolor set and tried in vain to keep his canvas limited to the paper in front of him instead of her kitchen wall.

High school gave him his first opportunity at organized classes in illustration and an obsession with comic style artwork was soon followed.  A few college classes added to his skills but the majority of his experience has been self-taught labor of love.

Blake first started illustrating on glass bottles while working with cult wine brands.  What started as a cool idea to have a little fun and generate something unique turned into a business.  Painting on glass is a tasking project, Blake exclusively uses DecoColor opaque paint markers to produce the art  for clients spanning from some of the finest wineries, famous athletes, musicians, and small corporations.
